Summer Program 2012
In this intensive program, students will be enrolled in language classes from Monday-Friday for four hours per day plus multiple activities around the county. Classes will be determined by the student’s level of proficiency or student’s home institution. Spanish classes are offered at all levels.
Summer program dates 2012
- May 19th to June 16th
- June 17th to July 14th
Both programs include:
- Transportation from the airport*
- Homestay for students in houses including breakfast, dinner and laundry.
- Coordination meeting at the school to give them a brief introduction to our program.
- Spanish classes at ILISA including the following courses:
- Spanish I (SPN 1120) 4 hrs of classes per day from Monday to Friday
- Spanish II (SPN 1121) 4 hrs of classes per day from Monday to Friday
- Spanish III (SPN 2200) 3hrs of classes per day Monday to Friday.
- Spanish IV (SPN 2201)
- Conversation I (SPN 2240)
- Conversation II (SPN 2241)
- Advanced Conversation (SPN 2341)
- Internet lab, social areas, cafeteria
Conversation classes For students who want to take extra classes (Conversation I, Conversation II, Advanced Conversation), price for 3 hours of Spanish Classes, 3 times a week, for 4 weeks is: $400
Activities 2 complementary activities will be included per week: dance classes and cooking classes. There will also be one guided city tour and 3 visits to museums. Entrance fee for students not included.

| Saturday June 23rd to Sunday June 24th: Trip to Punta Leona including transportation, stay in triple standard rooms, 1 dinner, 1 breakfast and 1 lunch. |

| Saturday June 30th: One day tour to Arenal Volcano with Tabacón including: transportation, lunch, dinner, entrance fee to Tabacón hot springs. |

| Friday July 6th to Sunday July 8th: Buena Vista Lodge, 3 days, 2 nights including: transportation, stay in double standard rooms, 2 dinners, 2 breakfast, 1 lunch, horseback riding, zip lining, hot springs and waterslide. |

University Credits ILISA will be offering credits through Weber State University. In order to get credits for courses taken, you need to finish your courses at ILISA and pay WSU the cost of each credit unit. The cost per credit unit is $30. Getting There Students will be responsible for reserving and purchasing their international transportation to and from San Jose, Costa Rica.
Cancellation and Refund Policy The deposit is $ 400 and has to be paid at least one month before arrival. Once it has been paid it is nonrefundable. |
